When last seen the Champions had left the King to deal with his own insurrection caused by his unfair policies.

They returned to their Castle (it used to be a campsite, but a castle sounds much better) and are preparing dinner.

They are rather poor for castle owners, so have no staff.

We pick up in the Great Kitchen, which features a fireplace to cook in the size of Hearst Castle, or nearly so.

Stevie, kindly slaughter that pig Koustave, gather up seasonings, sprigs Lili, on my lap, my Dear The King, if fair Would have nothing to fear

Hark, a knock upon our drawbridge Let’s put that food in our fridge (we are surprisingly advanced for the 11th century or so) Who can it be? What must be done? Why, it the Good Sir Cumberbun

What? Out of breath? Near sudden death? Are you fleeing your Mistress, yet? Let me have thy sword And thy coat

Take a rest Take off a load Raise the bridge! Cook that meal Perhaps Sir Cumberbun would like some veal?

“Nay, Good Sirs”, Was Sir Buns response “I have done a dastardly thing,” “I shot the Kings dear, in hindleg.” “Surely twas an honest mistake” ~ Sir Stevie “Go apoligize to his potentate!” ~ Sir Koustave

“Good Sirs, you fail to understand” “Twas his Mistress, with me upon the land” ~ Sir Cumberbuns “Oh my goodness, bring her to me!” “At this arrow, we shall have a looksie!” “I shall remove it, on count of 3!”

And there we shall leave the story for now. Where is the Kings Mistress? And does Sir Cumberbuns have some other secret?
